Director’s cut? Designer’s cut!
For the visual identity of the 18th Prague Short Film Festival, we embraced the recycling method — together with Zuzana Lednická, the graphic designer of the previous festival edition, we shredded last year’s posters and then reassembled them into a new form.
The fragmented strips of disintegrated images serve as a metaphor for the sequence of frames that make up a film strip. The shredder’s blades introduce chaos to the sequence, breaking down the original image and story and everything is reshaped to reassemble in a new composition.
